Thanksgiving 2009

This year we spent Thanksgiving with our families in Havasu.

The day before Thanksgiving, I made a Pumpkin and Cream Cheese Pie with Shannon and John's help.

Pumpkin and Cream Cheese Pie

Yummy! It has a brown sugar topping with pecans and chocolate chips. The recipe can be found here: Time for Pie by Bakerella

On Thanksgiving, we started cooking at John's house early in the morning. While preparing the stuffing, we found something had exploded in the ice box. Unfortunately, someone forgot beer in the freezer overnight. Here's Woody cleaning up the mess.

Once the turkey was in the oven at John's house, John and Nicole headed over to Nicole's house.

Delicious.

After a delicious feast at Nicole's house, we went back to John's house and had another delicious feast. (It was so good that no pictures were taken.)
