Engagement Parties

In March 2008, we had two small engagement parties provided by both of our families. We ate sandwiches, enjoyed cake, and toasted to our future.

"Traditional" Arm-leg Linkage.

It's Official: We're Engaged

John and I like to go to our favorite park.



We mainly go so we can feed the duckies.



But most importantly, we like to feed Pale Beak.



Pale Beak is a white duckie who has a rather pale beak. He was recently hurt, somehow managing to sprain/twist his ankle. We go to the park diligently to feed Pale Beak.

Saturday, February 2nd, 2008, while feeding Pale Beak, John proposed. I said yes. Pale Beak was very excited because he thought John was offering me food.





So it's official. We're engaged.
